Biography

Laura Kowalski has been creating art her whole life. In fact, by the time she graduated from high school, she had completed over 1000 hours of art classes.

Her current favorite expression of art is painting on canvas.

Kowalski works primarily in acrylics because they are most similar to her experience with life: intense, bright, and passionate.

Her work is often abstract and emotional, employing the suggestive line, broad strokes, large canvases and lots of paint.

She creates work from visions that come to herin prayers and meditations, so that she can share these deep visions with others
to better their lives, help them express their true selves and
follow their dreams.

Her intention is to help heal the world with art,
through the passion and beauty it reveals.

Raised in Erie, PA, she attended the Erie Day School
and McDowell High School.

In 1993, she received her B.A. in Political Science with disctinction and honors from The Pennsylvania State University’s main campus.

She moved to Steamboat Springs, CO in 1993 and spent 13 years becoming an expert in snow removal and the mother of two amazing children who continue to be her greatest teachers.

Laura is trained in watsu, cranial sacral therapy, and zero balancing, among many other skills, and works using her 17 years experience helping leaders make clear, strong decisions during times of transition.

She currently lives, works, and creates her artwork in the Northern Virginia / Washington DC area
and is an active member of CEO Space.
